Adult classes meet from 11:15—12:15 p.m., except for the fourth Sunday of each month which is designated as Common Hour, a time to do something else together. All classes are open to new members at any time.
“THIS I BELIEVE…” Are you interested in hearing about people’s core beliefs, discussing beliefs in a safe space and developing your own belief statement? This class is designed to assist you in the lifelong process of developing and understanding what you believe. [this needs to be rewritten to reflect what the class is doing now.
THE FEMINIST CLASS studies a variety of writings by feminist scholars and writers; class members share in planning and leading the discussion.
OCCASIONAL STUDIESare short classes that focus on particular themes. These often take the form of book studies or discussions based on a video-series. Some examples are “Embracing an Adult Faith” (5 sessions), “Experiencing the Bible Again for the First Time” (10 sessions), and “Living the Heart of Christianity” (12 sessions).
SERMON TALKBACKS are opportunities for people to gather after the Sunday service to have a discussion about the morning's sermon topic or text with the pastor or speaker.
