It all started with the dream of fresh water. Leah Dobbelaer, one of our youth group at the time, decided to raise money for a well at Rancho Ebenezer, where her uncle was helping develop a farm that taught sustaining forms of agriculture.
Now, each February or March around ten of our church members, along with some others, travel to Nicaragua to repair roofs, install electrical components, sew with local folks, muck stalls and feed the compost worms for richer soil.
